Recipe: Snickerdoodles

Snickerdoodles have always been one of my Dad's favorite cookies.  My Mom has been making these cookies for my Dad ever since I can remember.  One of her special secrets to making snickerdoodles extra rich is adding a bit of heavy cream to the dough.  This time I made the snickerdoodles without the addition of heavy cream, but if you do have some on hand - its well worth adding it to your next batch!  This recipe is sure to become a family favorite.  Here's how its done!

1 teaspoon vanilla

2 tablespoons heavy cream (optional)

3 cups white flour

1/4 cup white sugar
